Isabel Wrench
Blue Badge Guide – MITG
Isabel has been a professional tourist guide and tour manager for most of her working life (30 years approximately) and has travelled extensively and worked in several countries.
Working in Italian, Spanish and English (and with a working knowledge of French and German), she regularly guides people from vastly different cultures and with very different expectation. This experience has given her valuable insights into human behaviour and has helped her ability to adapt to her audience. With a broad cultural background and an international outlook, she is an enthusiastic and passionate communicator. She is a firm believer that a good sense of humour is very helpful in most situations and she tries never to take herself too seriously.
Angela Morgan
Blue Badge Guide – MITG
Guiding is her passion. She loves learning about places, customs, art, anything that she can get excited about. When she discovers new things, she wants to tell the whole world about them! She likes exploring and often finds herself in places that are not seen as popular or are unusual. She also loves learning about Black history as it relates to her heritage and British history. Every day is a learning experience.
Rowan Freeland
Blue Badge Guide – MITG
Rowan has always loved art, architecture, history and, of course, living in London, and wants to show the London that he loves to those who share his passions. Guiding is his second career. After a history degree from Oxford, he qualified as a solicitor and spent many years at a leading City law firm. He loved using his expertise to help clients solve their problems, and he is now using a different expertise to help clients understand and appreciate some of the wonderful things that London has to offer.
Mark Godowski
Blue Badge Guide – MITG
Blue Badge Guide since 2018; secondary school teacher of English and Drama since 1979 he is delighted that in guiding he can replicate the focus, energy, interaction and performance that he enjoyed both in the classroom and in his extra-curricular and travelleader roles. With student groups especially, he aims to break the ice quickly and create rapport within the tight time limits of guiding.
He is a language learner: he guides in Italian, Spanish and French. He is adept in making himself understood by learners of the English language, in terms of grammar, idiom, word-choice, clarity and emphasis – and a bit of mime, as required.
His specialist area as a teacher was literature, so he is strong on Shakespeare, Dickens, Blake….
As a guide he is strong on art and on how London has changed and is changing.
Pepe Martinez

Pepe Martinez is an award winning London Blue Badge Tourist Guide. He was born in the East End and has lived there all his life. He is an accredited Institute of Tourist Guiding Trainer and is currently tutoring on the London Blue Badge training course.
Amber Tallon
Blue Badge Guide – MITG
Amber has been a Blue Badge Guide since 2020, although she also had experience guiding periodically since 2013, and it’s been wonderful finding a career which combines her passions for London and history. While a global pandemic meant guiding in-person was impossible, she enjoyed the challenge of taking the guiding experience online and delivering virtual tours to people all over the world! She is a born and bred Londoner so she loves showing fellow Londoners and visitors alike what makes this city so special, and she never tires of telling all of London’s amazing and quirky stories. She studied History at the University of Oxford and it was during her degree that she became particularly interested in Early Modern History and the History of Art. She loves working with educational groups because she feels like they often ask the best questions, so she looks forward to sharing London with you!
